About this mission
Taipei hosted our September 2024 mission, focused on semiconductors, electronics, and sustainable supply chains. The delegation met with TAITRA, ITRI and senior figures across Taiwan's technology cluster, with sector deep-dives into IC design, advanced packaging, and green hardware. A signature moment was the MOU signed with a leading Taiwanese trade association, opening a two-year partnership pipeline for West London SMEs. Delegates also joined a British Office reception, a fireside chat on cross-Strait market entry, and site visits to the Hsinchu Science Park. The mission returned with 8 qualified leads and a shortlist of prospective Taiwanese partners now working with our members.
